Group Decisions

From looking through the sketches that the promotional team had done there were certain questions that stood out that needed answering to determine the direction of the designs. Once these decisions were made we were able to bring together our ideas and produce a consistent design for the poster and invitations.

Do we want to include an image/illustration of bank house?
Yes, it adds a relatability element. the building is hard to find therefore having already seen an image of the building, people will hopefully recognise it and be aware that that is where the exhibition is.

Do we want to include the stock market digits?
No, this will take the focus away from the Bank House image and will make the designs too cluttered

What is our background colour? White? Grey?
Working with the colour pallet of green, orange, grey, black and white is something that we need to experiment with with the designs. Printing on a coloured stock may be an interesting way to make the designs stand out and to incorporate the orange and green colours.

What tone of voice do we want to have?
From looking at the video that Tom is putting together, this demonstrated a straight to the point level headed tone of voice. This is the tone that we will write the invitation in with a slight friendlyness!
