I watched an interview of the designers of the Norwegian Banknote. They explain the background story behind the collection and explain how it links to the majority of the population. Having this reference is one of the reasons why the design is so successful and personal to Norway. This is something that I would like to explore for the United Kingdom and to hopefully discover that there is an importance for something as there is an importance for the sea to Norwegians.
