Content Feedback

Before the feedback session today, I wrote out the content of the book so that the content was clear to the group, allowing them to create more of a visual of what the book would look like.

Feedback Comments:
- the front cover should stand out to attract the young target audience. having a detailed illustration would incorporate the book with the cover as well as creating consistency
- consider using coloured text rather than a coloured background so that the detail in the illustrations isn't overpowered by colour
- a rounded typeface would be appropriate, look through your children's book research
- handwritten text may be effective
- perfect bound would be an appropriate binding option as it relates to other children's books

Illustration already completed:

Feedback Comments:
- You can tell in the first illustration that it is taken from a photograph due to the angle of looking down on the dogs. perhaps look at photographs more on their level
- adding certain details to the illustrations would add more character; collar, bowl, paw prints on the page

Both sets of feedback comments are going to be impactful on the continuation of the project. I will consider the comments made when gathering the images for the illustrations as well as when bringing the content together for the book.
