The YOYO Cards: 1 for The Great Barrier Reef, 8 for different species living in the reef.
Having one unique card that represents the Great Barrier Reef is an aspect that would be continued throughout each of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. This would reinforce the element of the different themes being part of a greater category, therefore raising awareness of the locations and the threat that they are under.
When looking back at the original research conducted using the Bear project pack, one important element was a relatable to the theme 'collectable mechanic'. This is an aspect of our response that has been discussed throughout the project, with ideas such as a Coral Reef poster scene being discussed. When considering how this could be more engaging and interactive for the audience, the idea was developed in the form of a concertina fold out poster. This would be a design that would be easy to post as well as being an unusual aesthetically pleasing piece of design that a child can have in their space.
