Due to the openness of the brief, it was expected that a variety of disciplines would submit. At this stage, the submissions received did not reflect this expectation. A discussion was had with Hilda and it was decided to extend the deadline for submitting to the brief. This is an act that many submissions take. Through a discussion with the organisers of the Beyond Photography, they expressed how beneficial an extension can be and the increased interest that can come of it.
To advertise the extension, an updated post was ,ade on the collaboration page for the university. It was also shared on each of our Instagram pages and therefore reached a wider audience.
