Studio Studio is a design trio who I learnt of through the studio featuring in an article in Issue Four of the Intern magazine. From previously working separately after graduating from The Icelandic Academy of the Arts, Arnar Freyr Guimundsson and Birna Geirfinnsottir founded the studio two years ago. The studio work with a number of cultural institutions and have said that 'working with cultural institutions you have to adapt to different media and platforms', and from this they have a structured way of answering a brief - 'we often try to deliver guidelines or create playful elements that last long term". This is an interesting approach for completing the work that they have.
The trio stated that the best projects are the ones that you learn from and that completing briefs that you may not necessarily like as you can identify what areas you don't like about the brief and over come these in future projects that may be presented.
