The initial research completed looked into publications of a similar nature to the design proposal. To further this research, I took this insert publication from the Country Living Magazine.
Size: 18cm x 14.5 cm The scale of this booklet makes it a very accessible size to hold and store. As it is an insert it needs to be of a pleasing and interesting size so that it is not overlooked by the reader.
Stock: The thick matte stock used throughout the booklet gives the pages an important level of durability for an insert booklet.
Binding: As this is only a small informative handout, the simple method of a saddle stitch holds the pages together and reflects the environment that the publication is being distributed in.
