As the brief is specific on the designs being printed using traditional print methods, I wanted to create a design that is simple but still has that bold element of colour. Working around two themes I completed some sketches to demonstrate my ideas. I would like to experiment with letter press and screen printing with this brief therefore have considered this with the designs. However, it will be a trial and error process to determine which of the designs will be the most successful. Adjustments may also need to be made to ensure that the design is produced to a high quality for the exhibition.
These sketches work around Glastonburys space theme for 2016 as well as show casing some of the main headliners using an adaptation to their current album artwork.
This second theme is working around the general picture of a festival rather than focusing on the specifics. This would mean that the design could be adapted to work with a range of festivals.
