Direction discussion
To inform which direction to take the the book cover in, discussions were had with peers to highlight the obvious and ambiguous responses. It was discussed that a typography and a photography approach would be the most obvious responses to make. This was also highlighted through the analysis of previous cover designs for the book. An ambiguous response would be something like collage. This is a technique that not many individuals use and therefore would result in the book cover standing out on a bookshelf, as well as enticing the audience and it would be something different. This approach can also be applied to the other sketches and would require experimentation.
