Feedback on Presentation

Following the presentation on Friday we have received feedback on how to develop our response to this brief further. I made the following notes:

After the feedback session we discussed as a group how we are going to take this feedback on board and the changes that we are going to make. We highlighted the main areas that need addressing before the submission are as follows:

- a logo, this will strengthen the branding and identity of the exhibition
- relating the wording to the imagery, this could be shown in the video as well as the poster and invitation designs
- have a completed list of those who we will invite
- refine the presentation so that it is completed to a high standard and contains all the relevant information for the pitch
- adjustments to the video; incorporating some of the students work

We also hope to be able to produce some physical work so that this can be shown in the submission as well as when we pitch in the following week.

Presentation

As I was not present for this presentation I left it up to the other group members to contribute with helping put the content together. Looking at the presentation now there are key elements such as the social media and audience missing from this presentation. It is essential that this is adjusted in the future.

Feedback

After our presentation we received feedback that we have taken on board and are going to make the suggested changes to the design to ensure that there is a consistancy and to make the concept strong for the final pitch. the feedback comments were mainly focused on the inconsistency of the theme throughout the promotional work and the video that was put together. It was said that the video held the clear theme of the stock market and the wall street route that we want to take the exhibition down. However, the promotional work lacked the fun of the video and didn't demonstrate the theme. This is something that we need to have another look at to see how we can bring in areas of the video in to the designs. It was also said that we need to consider the opening night and the exhibition space more as this was not something we had previously spent much time on therefore was not documented in the pitch. We plan to regroup and look back through the experiments that we have done to see how we can make the designs stronger, taking into consideration the feedback comments.

Presentation

The presentation was put together by Connell, following the brief plan that I noted down. Having a plan for the presentation meant that the content would flow and all the relevant information would be present.
